ESOCA / Our story
What began with our family has a place in yours.
01 / Where it began
Where it began.
Our family’s diffuser business began in 2003. Scent has given us something to build together, a shared purpose and a feeling of belonging. As we begin a new chapter in Canada, we want to carry that connection with us and make room for a new community to become part of the story.
Since 2003, our family's diffuser business has been a thread connecting us through scent. It has given us a reason to work towards something together, and a way for each of us to feel part of something that matters.
That is the part of our family story we want to carry into ESOCA. Alongside the products is the meaning we find in building something together: caring about the work, sharing its purpose and knowing that what we create can become part of someone else's home.
We hope that connection travels with every scent we develop. From our family into a room where another family gathers, a place where someone comes home after work, or a corner of the day that belongs to one person alone.

2003
Our family's diffuser business begins.
In 2003, our family begins a business centred on diffusers. Scent becomes a shared connection and something we can build with purpose.

Growing together
A shared purpose, growing through scent.
Our family builds experience through the diffuser business. Together, we reach a milestone of more than 600,000 bottles sold.

A new chapter
Bringing that purpose to Canada.
A new home gives us a new chapter: carrying our family's connection through scent into a Canadian-owned brand.

Today
ESOCA today.
Four daily ritual blends and four single oils bring that family connection into the spaces and moments people call their own.
03 / A new chapter
You bring more than your belongings.
Moving to a new country brings a question that takes time to answer: how do you make a life here while staying close to the people and the purpose that shaped you?
For us, ESOCA is part of that answer. We want to come together around something familiar, give it room to grow and share it with the community we are becoming part of. Our family's experience with scent is where we begin. The relationships we hope to build here are what make this next chapter meaningful.
Belonging takes time. Our hope is that ESOCA can contribute to it in a small, everyday way: through a familiar scent, a moment shared, or a home that starts to feel a little more like your own.
04 / Today
There should be room for you in your day.
We are creating ESOCA with working people and families in mind. People whose days have responsibilities in them: a shift to finish, a commute home, dinner to make, someone to look after.
A scent ritual should fit into that life without asking for a perfect routine. It might be a few minutes before the house gets busy, a pause after work, or the moment you finally sit down together.
Those moments can be easy to overlook when there is always something else to do. We want to make a little more room for them. The laundry can wait five minutes.
Our mission
To carry our family's sense of belonging into everyday life.
We are building ESOCA to help people make meaningful moments through scent: moments that bring them closer to themselves, to the people they love and to the places they call home.
Our first step is a collection of four daily scent rituals. As we grow, we want the care behind them to be visible in our products, our relationships and the choices we make about our environmental footprint.
Four daily rituals
For the different parts of being you.
Four daily scent rituals begin with familiar moments, leaving room for your own hours, habits and way of making each one yours.
Fresh Morning
A moment to begin, before the day asks something of you.
Deep Focus
A familiar ritual as you settle into the work in front of you.
Zen Moment
A pause between what you have finished and what comes next.
Good Night
A quieter part of the evening, with a little left for yourself.
Our approach & impact
Giving, with the details in view.
Belonging begins with being safe, heard and given room to grow. We propose to support children through UNICEF Canada, whose international work includes Vietnam.
No partnership or contribution programme is active yet. Before it begins, we will publish the approved recipient, contribution calculation and reporting schedule. A donation to UNICEF Canada does not automatically fund a particular country or project.
We consider sourcing, packaging and delivery separately. Giving does not erase the footprint of making a product.
PLEDGE IN DEVELOPMENT
UNICEF Canada is our proposed recipient for a future company-funded contribution. No partnership or contribution programme is active. We will publish the approved recipient, calculation, start date and reporting schedule before it begins.
The Ritual Tribe
Choose yourself.
The Ritual Tribe is a place for the rituals you make your own. Join for scent discoveries, useful home ideas and notes from our family.
No points, paid membership or reward balance is active. Joining the email list is optional; shopping does not enrol you.
Our next chapter
We would love to hear what home means to you.
A familiar scent. A family tradition. A small routine you have kept through a big change. These are the kinds of moments we want to make room for as ESOCA grows.
