What we mean by a giving pledge

Care should be visible in the details. Our family story has made us think about belonging, children and the communities that make a home possible.
An intention, with clear limits
UNICEF Canada is the recipient we propose for a future company-funded contribution. UNICEF works internationally, including in Vietnam. ESOCA does not currently have a charity partnership or an active per-order contribution programme. A donation to UNICEF Canada does not automatically fund a particular country.
What comes before a promise
We need to confirm recipient acceptance, the contribution rate and calculation, the definition of profit, timing, permissions and reporting. We will publish these terms before a programme becomes active.
What a useful report should show
A report should distinguish the planned calculation, amounts actually transferred, recipients and dated evidence. It should explain gaps rather than fill them with unverified totals. Giving does not erase the environmental footprint of ingredients, bottles, packaging and delivery.
